Twice. Because once wasn't enough.

DOUBLE is excess with a mathematical justification. It's the second espresso, the extra shift, the bet nobody advised. Out in the world it functions as a policy statement about how much of anything is correct.

Why "DOUBLE"? Six letters holding twice, twofold, twin and again. DOUBLE is the only word that makes overdoing it sound like arithmetic.
